Windsor Manor Basics

Located at the edge of Keller Lake, Windsor Manor has a large deck overlooking the water, creating a comfortable spot to read the paper or visit. The dining program also contributes to the welcoming atmosphere. Meals are prepared on site, and the cooks enjoy serving recipes that residents share. Favorites include Nora's Meatloaf, Louise's Bean Soup, and Dorothy's Orange Bars. Not to be outdone by the women, Al's Apple Cake brings great reviews, too.

There are special events such as hayrides, teas, cooking contests and outings to area restaurants. Perpetual favorites include Bible study, Sunday worship, jewelry making, discussions about contemporary topics, pet visits, Wii sports, electric darts, cards and other games. Warm weather heralds the start of the rose and vegetable garden season not to mention Keller Lake fishing. The Men's Club visits local museums and other points of interest all year long.

Windsor Manor is divided into two households with accommodations for 20 residents in each. There are casual and more formal dining areas. There are also two living rooms. One is designed for quiet endeavors with a library and a computer. Both have working fireplaces. There is a spa room, hair salon, private dining room, games room and a small shop for personal items.

All accommodations are private with private baths. There are a limited number of suites and studios with kitchenettes. For your comfort, there is radiant floor heat and central air conditioning.

All Keller Lake accommodations include a twin bed and nightstand, chest of drawers, small round table with two dining chairs; an occasional chair, a floor lamp and a table lamp. If you prefer, you are welcome to use your own furniture to give your new home a personal flair.

A physician visits Windsor Manor weekly to provide routine medical care for residents who choose to join that practice. There are also regular visits by a podiatrist. Rehabilitation services are available at Clark on Franklin if needed to recover from an accident or illness. Clark at Home provides physician ordered therapy and nursing services. As always, The Clark Commitment ensures a secure future.

Monthly fees include assistance with activities of daily living, three daily meals, snacks, many spa services, daily bathroom cleaning and trash removal, fresh towels daily, weekly laundry and comprehensive housecleaning, as well as all utilities except telephone and cable TV.
